One of the great benefits of having a passion for interior design is being able to appreciate the myriad design styles. My own interior design style tends to be a mix of classic and transitional design but I am starting to find that my tastes are turning to a more minimal, modern aesthetic. I am obsessed with chevron and herringbone floors, marble with contrasting veining, and natural or dark wood accents. Throw in a splash of brass or chrome or nickel and I am sold. Katt
